Come and join us from the 21st to the 27th of June 2011. This is a multilateral project inviting 27 people from different Countries to England. It intends to promote intercultural dialogue and social change between young people by offering them the opportunity to develop activities and workshops in which they can improve their skills and awareness of themes such as European and active citizenship and cultural diversity at international level using Video and Theatre Arts. The project is based on practical work.
Oddstream Festival (May 29th - June 5th, 2011 - Nijmegen, Holland)
‘Youth critical media literacy training’ Oddstream Festival – Nijmegen, the Netherlands / 29th of May - 7th of June 2011
Description The idea of the international training is to train 24 already experienced participants in arts, media and communication, using workshops to create a common understanding of the festival concepts and create the group work atmosphere, and practical »field work«, with an accent on peer to peer education and communication work. The training and its participants will at the same time be the media team of the Oddstream festival, creating synergies with it, and report from it, partly in collaboration with local media.
